DAFgiving360® is committed to ensuring that grants are made only to qualified U.S. public charities and are used exclusively for charitable purposes. We rely on IRS determinations of public charity status and conduct additional due diligence, as appropriate, using information from a variety of sources.
A recommended grant recipient may be flagged for monitoring or placed under temporary suspension. Grant recipients are generally placed under temporary suspension when DAFgiving360 is made aware that a federal or state governing body has indicted, convicted, or accepted a guilty plea related to fraud, tax offenses, theft and misappropriation, money laundering, terrorism, or conspiracy and racketeering.
